GENERAL INFO

Vois is a conjugated form of the verb *voir* (to see). It means "I see," "you see" (informal singular), or "see!" (imperative, informal singular).

USAGE

Used with "je" (je vois = I see) and "tu" (tu vois = you see). It also forms the imperative for "tu" (Vois! = See!/Look!).

*Example:* Je vois un oiseau. (I see a bird.)

*Example:* Vois la différence! (See the difference!)

TRAPS

Do not confuse vois (verb) with *voix* (noun, meaning "voice"), which sounds identical but is spelled differently and has a completely different meaning.
